Azerbaijan unveils data on goods export for Q1


April 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan carried out exports of fruits and vegetables for $97.2 million, cotton fiber for $69 million, aluminum and products made from it for $42.4 million, ferrous metals and products made from them for $22.2 million.

ABC.AZ reports that during this period cotton yarn was exported for $10.3 million, chemical products for $9 million, and sugar for $9 million. Exports of fats and oils of animal origin amounted to $8.4 million, alcoholic and non–alcoholic beverages for $3.4 million, plants and tea for $2 million.

These goods and products account for 45% of non-oil exports. This indicator implies greater diversification of goods and products compared to previous years, against the background of the growth of non-oil exports.
