Fitch Ratings has updated its forecast on Azerbaijan

April 30, Fineko/abc.az. International ratings agency Fitch Ratings has updated its forecast on Azerbaijan’s economy.

ABC.AZ reports that currently, the agency projects the growth rate of real GDP in Azerbaijan in 2021 to be 2.5%.

Fitch’s forecast for November of last year was 2.7%.

It should be noted that last year, against the background of Covid-19 pandemic GDP production in Azerbaijan decreased by 4.3% to AZN 72.4 bn.
