Azerbaijan and Iran create trade zone

May 3, Fineko/abc.az. The establishment of free trade zone (FTA) in Ardabil will lead to the expansion of economic ties between Iran and Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by the governor of Ardabil province of Iran, Akber Behnamju.

He noted that the social situation of the border districts of both countries will increase even more. According to Behnamju, the project of the creation of the FTA was adopted by the government and parliament of Iran.

The implementation of the project will begin after its approval by the Committee on Economy & Infrastructure of the Expert Council.
