May 7, Fineko/abc.az. During a joint operation in Salyan district, employees of the Food Safety Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs inspected a Mercedes E220 99-EN-804 car belonging to Seymur Azizli, a resident of Beidili village of Bilasuvar district.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Agency that as a result of the inspection of the vehicle, two carcasses of an animal of unknown origin with a total weight of 209 kg were found, which did not pass veterinary inspection and were transported under unsanitary conditions.

Samples were taken from the animal carcasses and sent to the appropriate laboratory of the Azerbaijan Institute of Food Safety for research.

The investigation on the revealed fact is ongoing.
