New chairman of Bank of Baku appointed

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. Chairman of board of Bank of Baku Eldar Hamidov has been relieved of his post.

ABC.AZ reports that the management of the bank is entrusted to Filiz Yunis Emre Ali oglu.

Until now, she was a member of the Bank’s Supervisory Board and worked in Turkey’s Nab Holding (the main shareholder of the bank).

Bank of Baku has been operating since 1994. Its authorized capital is AZN 52.87 million. 35% of Bank's shares belong to NAB Holding, 31.1% to Hikmet Ismayilov (100% shareholder of Azsığorta OJSC, 99.6% to AFB Bank OJSC), 28.9% to Azpetrol Oil Company LLC, 5% to Elchin Isayev (chairman of the Supervisory Board).
