Oil rises in cost, and Brent is at $66.96 a barrel

May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday’s trading, ending last week with a decline.

By 9:30 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the July’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.52 (0.78%) up to $66.96 per barrel. At the end of the trading on 21 May the price of Brent crude oil futures for July rose by $1.33 (2.04%) up to $66.44 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the July’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.48 (0.75%) up to $64.06 per barrel. Following the trading on 21 May the WTI futures for July grew in price by $1.64 (2.65%) up to $63.58 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent crude oil fell by 3.3% and WTI oil by 2.7%.
