Demand for taxis has increased

May 24, Fineko/abc.az. The percentage of passengers using taxis has increased significantly in Azerbaijan due to the pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that over Jan-Apr 2021 out of 355 million passengers transported by road, 7.9% accounted for passenger taxis.

For comparison, it is noted that this indicator has increased sharply compared with the same term of 2020.

So, 457.3 million passengers were carried for Jan-Apr 2020, including taxi carriages of 3.8%.
