Oil falls in price, and Brent is at $68.51 a barrel

May 27, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Thursday’s trading.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, last week country's oil reserves fell by 1.66 million barrels. Gasoline stocks decreased by 1.74 million barrels and distillates by 3.01 million barrels.

By 9:20 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the July’s Brent crude futures dropped by $0.36 (0.52%) to $68.51 per barrel. Following the trading on 26 May the price of Brent crude oil futures for July rose by $0.22 (0.32%) up to $68.87 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of July’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.35 (0.53%) to $65.86 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 May the WTI futures for July grew in price by $0.14 (0.21%) to $66.21 per barrel.
