AQTA has restricted import of live poultry and eggs from Netherlands

May 27, Fineko/abc.az. According to the World Organization for Animal Health, highly pathogenic avian influenza has been reported in the Dutch region of Limburg.

According to the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (AQTA), in this regard, a temporary restriction has been imposed on the supply of live poultry and hatching eggs from this region of the Netherlands.

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan was asked to take appropriate measures in respect of vehicles coming from the Netherlands or in transit.
