Rate of air travelers from Azerbaijan to Georgia has increased

June 1, Fineko/abc.az. In April 2021 the number of flights from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 13.8% year-on-year, ABC.AZ informs with reference to April’s report of the National Bank of Georgia.

The document says that the number of international visitors received by the country last month exceeded last year’s relevant figure by 140.4%.

91.9% of visitors were tourists (182.2% more versus April 2020). The report stressed that the increase in the number of travelers was caused by vaccination and the resumption of international flights.
