SOCAR president meets with Gazprom CEO

June 4, Fineko/abc.az. President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev met with Alexey Miller, the head of Russian oil & gas company Gazprom.

ABC.AZ reports that the bilateral meeting was held within the framework of the XXIV International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.

The SOCAR president discussed with Gazprom’s head the prospects for cooperation in the gas sector.

The essence of the discussion is not disclosed. But it is possible that we are talking about the supply of Russian gas to Azerbaijan.
