Azerbaijan returned over $6 million of investments from Georgia


June 9, Fineko/  In the 1st quarter of 2021 Azerbaijan withdrew US$6.239 million of investments made in the Georgian economy, according to the quarterly report of the Office of National Statistics of Georgia.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the document, over Jan-Mar 2021 foreign direct investments in the Georgian economy amounted to $125.423 million (28.3% less year-on-year).

The countries that withdrew the largest amount of investments from Georgia for Q1 were the U.S. ($59.8 million), Kyrgyzstan ($24.3 million) and Malta ($12.03 million).
