March 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) announced a tender procedure for creation of digital identification system based on blockchain technologies.

The CBA informs that the tender will consist of three lots.

"Lot 1: drawing of expert services on creation of digital identification system based on blockchain technologies; Lot 2: creation of a technical platform; Lot 3: formation of the digital identification system itself based on blockchain technologies," the CBA said.

Tender participation fee on each lot is AZN 200.

The applicants must submit preliminary documents until 30 April, the tender bid and the bank guarantee of up to 1% of its value until 10 May to the CBA administrative building at the address: 90, Rashid Behbudov Str, Nasimi District of Baku.

The bids will be considered on 11 May at 3 pm.

Work on Lot 1 should be completed within 3 months, Lot 2 - 6 months, and Lot 3 - 18 months.
