June 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has appealed to citizens in connection with the fight against cybercrime.

ABC.AZ was informed at the MIA press service that the appeal says:

"Recently, some individuals engaged in fraud gain access to bank card data by calling from fake foreign numbers. Such scammers call mostly elderly people, posing as bank employees. Then, when offering various incentive campaigns, they are asked to provide bank card details, first name, last name, patronymic, CVV code and confirmation code. After receiving this data, funds are debited from the card accounts of the victims and appropriated. The Ministry asks citizens who have encountered cybercrime to call the number 102.”
