WB to allocate a loan of $95 million to Azerbaijan

June 22, Fineko/abc.az. The World Bank plans to approve a $95 million loan for Azerbaijan in the next 2-3 months to fight the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by the head of the bank's representative office in Azerbaijan, Sarah Michael.

"We are currently discussing with the government of Azerbaijan the implementation of the project (Emergency Response to COVID-19) to support the country's authorities in the fight against coronavirus infection. The WB plans to give a loan in the amount of $95 million for the implementation of the project,” Michael said.
