June 23, Fineko/abc.az. There is no need for a 3rd dose of the vaccine in Azerbaijan yet.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Rashad Makhmudov, a member of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet Ministers, in an interview for TV channel ARB.

He noted that today there is no country in the world that widely uses the third dose of the vaccine.

"However, both the health institutions and the structures pursuing this policy, as well as the operational headquarters, are taking steps in accordance with the existing experience both in our country and in the world, and, above all, with the WHO’s recommendations. I’m sure that in the future, if necessary, the Azerbaijani health system will deal with the issue of the third dose. But today there is no need for this," he said.
