June 30, Fineko/abc.az. The State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy has taken measures against Volt Azerbaijan LLC for unfair competition and violation of antimonopoly legislation in order to obtain an unjustified advantage over competitors in the delivery services market.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Service that during the investigation it turned out that Volt Azerbaijan LLC, in its contracts with public catering enterprises, set as the main requirement only that it is a company providing exceptional courier services. In this regard, Volt Azerbaijan LLC violated the requirements of the Azerbaijan’s Law on Unfair Competition.

Volt Azerbaijan was required to eliminate violations of the law, and a financial sanction was applied to the company for unfair competition.
