July 1 Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2021 the non–oil sector goods for $279.5 million were exported by Azerbaijan to Russia, for $255 million to Turkey, for $91.1 million to Switzerland, for $69.1 million to Georgia and for $29.5 million to the U.S., ABC.AZ reports with reference to June’s issue of the Export Review.

The document says that Azerbaijan’s total export for May 2021 amounted to $1.6 bn and export of non–oil sector $210.5 million.

Non-oil export turned out by 22% (or $38 million) more than in May 2020.

Also, in the structure of the non–oil sector, in 2021, the export of food products totaled $85.4 million and non-food products $125.1 million.

In May 2021 Russia rose to the 1st position in the list of countries with the largest export of non-oil sector goods ($91 million).

Turkey holds the 2nd place in this list ($38.7 million), and Switzerland – 3rd place ($22.9 million).
