July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Measures have been taken to ensure transparency, objectivity and improve the quality of services provided in the field of disability assessment, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance.

According to the report, during the first 6 months of 2021 the Agency conducted internal inspections in state medical institutions subordinate to TƏBIB, which have the right to issue a referral for a medical and social examination. As a result, one chief doctor (city polyclinic #3 in Sumgait), three directors (central hospitals of Fizuli, Bilasuvar and Agjabedi districts) and 12 members of medical advisory commissions (Baku city polyclinic #19 and the United City Hospital #26) were dismissed from their posts due to serious violations in the performance of their duties, violations of the law during the determination of the degree of disability.
