Mass vaccination has started in Georgia

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. From today the process of mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus starts in Georgia.

ABC.AZ reports that about 350 medical teams are involved in the process.

During the day it is planned to vaccinate from 20,000 to 30,000 people. To form collective immunity, 60% of the adult population is planned to be vaccinated by the end of the year.

On 2 July, the neighboring country prepared one million doses of Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines to be used for mass vaccination. In the process, 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, donated by Austria and delivered to Tbilisi last night, will also be used.
