Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $74.66 a barrel

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are rising in Wednesday’s trading after falling the day before.

By 9:45 am, at the auction on the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures increased in price by $0.13 (0.17%) up to $74.66 per barrel. Following the trading on 6 July the Brent crude futures for September fell by $2.63 (3.41%) to $74.53 per barrel.

By 9:45 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the August’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.19 (0.26%) up to $73.56 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 July the WTI futures for August fell in price by $1.95 (2.59%) to $73.37 per barrel.
