March 28, Fineko/abc.az. Tourism center Shahdag has announced the closure of next winter season 2017-2018.

The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan informs that the winter season on the resort territory starts in December and ends in April depending on weather conditions.

"In the current season the center was visited by more than 120 000 tourists and this is a record figure since the beginning of activity of the resort. Up to 50% of the visitors of the center were foreign tourists, mainly from UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Great Britain and Kuwait," the Ministry reported.

According to the MCTA, the resort is already preparing for the summer season.
