MPs discuss matter of installation of smart meters at houses

July 9, Fineko/abc.az. At today’s Milli Majlis meeting the parliamentarians discussed a number of issues and the nuances related to energy suppliers were touched upon.

ABC.AZ reports that during the discussion it was noted that smart meters will be supplied to consumers of electric energy, natural gas, central heating and cooling, as well as hot water.

The Bill on the efficient use of energy resources & energy efficiency, submitted for discussion in the 3rd reading at the meeting, says that, with the centralized supply of buildings with thermal energy, a heat and hot water meter will be installed at the connection point.
