July 12, Fineko/abc.az. The reconstruction of road Basgal–Gichatan-Taglabiyan–Kalfaraj–Zeyva-Kurdyuvan–Khankendi–Muju–Sarsura–Kalyazeyva–Sulut, connecting 11 settlements with the population of 4,000 residents and originating from the 17th km of highway Muganly-Ismayilli of republican significance, continues in Ismayilli district.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Motor Road Agency that a new road with total length of 25 km is being built in four directions: village Gichatan, villages Taglabiyan-Kalfaraj, Zeyva–Kurdyuvan–Khankendi–Muju and Sarsura–Kalyazeyva–Sulut.

The construction of this highway will lead to the development of agriculture and tourism in the southern foothills of the Greater Caucasus, the ancient village of Sulut, located on the territory of picturesque Ismailli district and considered one of the first settlements of a person mentioned on maps of Azerbaijan of the XII century, as well as the village of Gichatan, the village of Sarsura, famous for its life-giving springs, Kalyazeyva, famous for its historical monuments, mausoleums, oratories. This will also have positive impact on the social well-being of the population living in this territory. At the last stage of the project, bus stops will be built for the normal organization of traffic, road signs, information signs will be installed, horizontal marking lines will be drawn.
