16:07 - 29.03.2018

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke at the Azerbaijani-Iranian business forum today.

According to the head of state, tens of thousands of new jobs will be created thanks to the construction of the Astara-Rasht road, as well as the launch of the North-South transport corridor, and these jobs must be created by entrepreneurs.

"A large flow of tourists is expected. Hundreds of thousands of people travel from Azerbaijan to Iran every year, and after the opening of the railway, not only goods, but also passengers will be transported. Therefore it is necessary to invest heavily in tourist infrastructure. I invite both Azerbaijani and Iranian businessmen to discuss this issue. I assure that joint investments made in Azerbaijan and Iran in the tourist infrastructure, construction of hotels will not be lost, but on the contrary will give big revenues," the head of state said.
