July 22, Fineko/abc.az. The penetration rate of Facebook users in Azerbaijan in relation to the population (as of 30 June 2021) made up 42.3%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the report published by Internet World Stats (IWS).

According to IWS, the number of Facebook users in the country with the population of more than 10,223 million people exceeds 4,327 million users.

From the beginning of this year (compared with the results of IWS last report published on 31 December 2020) to 30 June the number of Facebook users in the country increased by 3.4%.

During this period the Facebook penetration rate among the population decreased by 0.1 percentage points.

The number of users of the social network in the countries of the South Caucasus is 3,222 million in Georgia and 1,863 million in Armenia.
