2-week holidays are expected in Iran to avoid fifth wave

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, ordered to declare a 2-week vacation in accordance with the request of the country's health minister.

ABC.AZ reports that Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki sent a letter to the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei with a request to declare a 2-week vacation in the country, tighten control over medical protocols for two weeks in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country and reduce the burden on hospitals.

In response to the letter from the Health Minister, Ayatollah Khamenei instructed the Iranian president to discuss this issue at the coronavirus control headquarters and take the necessary steps.
