Baku trade turnover exceeds AZN 11 bn

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 6 months of this year the Baku trade turnover increased by 3% (versus Jan-Jun 2020) up to AZN 11.7 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.

The value of food, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail network increased by 5.6% (against Jan-Jun 2020) up to AZN 5.7 bn and the volume of nonfoods by 0.4% up to AZN 5.296 bn.

35.9% of consumer goods were sold at enterprises with the status of legal entity, 42.5% in retail facilities owned by private entrepreneurs, 21.6% in the food markets of the capital.
