August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Rolls-Royce Corporation has signed an agreement on sale of Norwegian engine manufacturer Bergen Engines to British engineering concern Langley Holdings for 63 million euro.

ABC.AZ reports that the concern acquires the plant for the production of diesel and gas engines, a service shop, as well as a network of service centers operating in seven countries of the world within the contract.

Rolls-Royce has already informed the Norwegian government about the sale deal. Conclusion of the contract is scheduled for 31 December 2021.

Until now the Norwegian fleet has purchased engines from the Bergen Engines plant. In February, TMX and Rolls-Royce wanted to conclude a deal for 150 million euro on the sale of the plant, but the Norwegian government rejected the deal for national security reasons.
