Azerbaijan’s reserve assets grew by $2 bn

April 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) published the report on balance of payments by the end of 2017.

According to the report, net financial assets on credits and loans decreased by $33.8 million and financial liabilities increased by $662 million, liabilities on credits and loans decreased at the expense of banks and grew at the expense of state loans and governmental guarantees.

Assets on deposits and cash increased by $801.9 million and liabilities on them decreased by $1.25 bn.

During the reporting period reserve assets increased by $2 bn.
