A ring road is laid to Lachin

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of a 23 km long road without an entrance to Lachin, liberated from the occupation, has been launched.

ABC.AZ reports citing Gidayat Rustamov, deputy head of the Main Department for the Road Operation & Repair of the Azerbaijan State Motor Road Agency.

According to Rustamov, the alternative new road to be laid without entering Lachin will have two lanes of traffic. Currently, the road to Lachin is under the control of peacekeepers. To this end, we have started the construction of an alternative ring road with length of 23 km without entering Lachin, in order to ensure convenient traffic.
