Railway line to be arranged between Baku and Nakhchivan

April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Iran have agreed on the creation of railway line Baku-Nakhchivan.

Azerbaijan Railways’ chairman Javid Gurbanov stated that the agreement on the railway project was reached within the framework of the visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Azerbaijan.

"Stadler high-speed trains run from Baku station to Nakhchivan station for 18 hours. The length of the railroad will be 1,450 km," Gurbanov said.
