Innovations in Azerbaijan's agriculture - Transition to private veterinary medicine begins

August 31, Fineko/abc.az. The process of transition to the private veterinary system has been launched in Azerbaijan since today. In this regard, conference on the theme "Private veterinary medicine: perfect, competitive and high-quality services to farmers" was held in Baku.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture that delivering speech at the event Agriculture Minister Inam Kerimov noted that continuous reforms are underway in the agricultural sector in order to make services more accessible to farmers and improve the quality of services in competitive environment.

A striking example of this is the introduction of a private veterinary service.

Food Safety Agency’s chairman Goshgar Tahmazli said that persons engaged in private veterinary activities will be issued extracts from the register.
