August 31, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tourism Agency organized an online meeting with representatives of about 250 hotels on 30 August.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Agency that the meeting participants discussed the requirements for hotels operating in the country during the special quarantine regime.

Agency’s reps gave to participants the detailed explanations about the category of guests who should present a COVID-19 passport, the date when a COVID-19 passport is required for guests, the number of doses, as well as the requirements related to vaccination of hotel staff.

In addition, the hotel reps were reminded that from 1 September at least 80% of employees (regardless of whether they work under labor or civil contracts) must receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and from 1 October the second dose of the vaccine or a certificate of immunity against COVID-19.

According to Cabinet Ministers’ Resolution #151 from 1 September 2021, only persons who have received the 2nd dose of the vaccine, who have an immunity certificate or a certificate of contraindications, will be served in closed rooms in hotels.
