Vaccination of teenagers aged 16-18 begins in Azerbaijan

September 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan starts vaccination of adolescents aged 16 to 18 years.

This decision was made by the Scientific Medical Council of the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee of TABIB.

Vaccination of adolescents will also be carried out in exceptional cases with Pfizer's mRNT (Comirnaty) vaccine.

To vaccinate adolescents, a written request from one of the parents will be required, indicating the reasons for vaccination and written permission from both parents.
