Rivian’s head announced the release of first electric pickup truck

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. American automotive startup Rivian has started assembling an electric pickup truck R1T for consumers.

Company’s founder and CEO Ar-Jay Scaringe informs that the first consumer car rolled off the assembly line in Normal, Illinois, USA. This is the first electric model in the popular American body type.

Rivian’s representative confirmed that company's first pickups coming off the assembly line will go on sale from 2022.
