Cigarette production has increased against 2020

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2021 the production of fermented tobacco products in Azerbaijan reached 1,146.9 tons (63% less versus Jan-Aug 2020), according to the State Statistics Committee.

Over the reporting period the country accumulated reserves in the amount of 1,178.1 tons of finished fermented tobacco.

For the past 8 months of 2021 the manufacture of cigarettes in Azerbaijan totaled 9.07 bn cigarettes (84.4% more than in 2020).

For the same term a stock of finished products in the amount of 907.3 million cigarettes formed in Azerbaijan.
