AZAL’s plane collided with a bird and made an emergency landing

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The plane, owned by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has collided today with a bird.

AZAL spokesman Pasha Kesemenski says that the bird strike occurred with flight Baku–Nakhchivan (Airbus 320).

"The captain of the aircraft decided to return the plane back to the Heydar Aliyev Airport and the plane returned safely to its destination. The plane has been sent for technical examination, and the passengers will fly to Nakhchivan later by another aircraft," he emphasized.
