Value of oil grows, and Brent exceeds $79 a barrel

September 27, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday’s trading.

By 08:55 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures rose by $1.06 (1.36%) up to $79.15 per barrel. Following the trading on 24 September, the price of Brent oil futures for November increased by $0.84 (1.09%) up to $78.09 per barrel.

By 08:55 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November grew in price by $1.02 (1.38%) up to $75.00 per barrel. Following the trading on 24 September, the price for November’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.68 (0.93%) up to $73.98 per barrel.

By the end of the past week Brent crude oil grew by 3.65% and WTI by 2.79%.
