Oil price keeps on growing, and Brent exceeds $80 a barrel

September 28, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades continue to rise in Tuesday’s trading, and the cost of Brent broke the mark of $80 per barrel for the first time since October 2018.

By 11:10 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.81 (1.02%) up to $80.34 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 September, the price of Brent oil futures for November soared by $1.44 (1.84%) up to $79.53 per barrel.

By 11:10 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November increased in price by $0.87 (1.15%) up to $76.32 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 September, the price of November’s WTI oil futures jumped by $1.47 (1.99%) up to $75.45 per barrel.

Both oil grades ended the trading on Monday at the highest levels since October 2018.
