Rate of cryptocurrency users in Azerbaijan unveiled

September 28, Fineko/abc.az. The number of cryptocurrency users in Azerbaijan is 98,220 ones or 0.97% of the population.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan holds the 6th place among nine CIS countries covered by the study.

Top 5 consists of Russia (17.38 million users), Ukraine (5.57 million), Belarus (352,500), Uzbekistan (344,050), Kazakhstan (324,330).

Kyrgyzstan (63,200) and Moldova (54,380) are on the 7th and 8th positions. Armenia is in the last place with 33,270 users.

The number of cryptocurrency users worldwide has reached 280 million. 100 million of them accounts for India. The study covers more than 140 countries from different continents.
