Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry: Main result of agreement on Karabakh is stability

September 28, Fineko/abc.az. The main result of the agreements reached last year between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on the complete cessation of hostilities in Karabakh is the achievement of stability in the conflict zone, ABC.AZ reports citing Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

According to the Russian minister, the stability established in the region is maintained, which is facilitated by the Russian peacekeeping contingent: "We are not seeing any violent actions now. Minor incidents that were at the initial stage were quickly resolved. I would like to emphasize once again: the situation there is stable now."

Lavrov added that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs agreed in New York with Baku and Yerevan to resume working trips to the region.
