Oil falls in value, and Brent is at $78.08 a barrel

October 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Friday’s trading after growth following the previous session.

By 9:15 am, the cost of December’s Brent futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange is $78.08 a barrel ($0.23 (0.29%) lower than the closing price of the previous session). Following the trading on 30 September, these contracts rose by $0.22 (0.3%) up to $78.31 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, the price of WTI futures for November on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) is $74.79 per barrel ($0.24 (0.32%) lower than the final value of the previous session). The value of these contracts on 30 September has increased by $0.20 (0.3%) up to $75.03 per barrel.

By the end of September, the price of Brent increased by 9.5% and WTI by more than 9%.
