Turkey’s reports a sharp increase of exports

October 1, Fineko/abc.az. In August 2021 Turkey increased exports by 51.9% (versus August 2020) up to $18.916 bn.

According to the Institute of Statistics and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, imports increased by 23.6% by August 2020 up to $23.175 bn.

Over the reporting period the foreign trade deficit decreased by 32.4% to $4.259 bn.

The ratio of exports and imports made up 81.6% for August 2021 against 66.4% in August 2020.
