Profit of one of world’s largest companies has lowered

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. PepsiCo, the world's second largest global food and beverage business, has released a financial report for the 3rd quarter of 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that the company focused on the growth of expenses against the background of revenue growth.

According to the report, in the 3rd quarter Pepsi's income increased by 11.6% compared with the previous quarter and by 13.2% year-on-year up to $20.19 bn.

Most of the revenue ($6.40 bn) came from the drinks, chips and other desserts division (Lays, Doritos and Cheetos, $4.65 billion).

And the net profit decreased almost by 3% to $2.22 bn.
