April 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani president-chaired meeting of the Cabinet Ministers, held yesterday, was dedicated to the results of socio-economic development in the 1st quarter of 2018 and the upcoming challenges.

During the meeting the president stated about additional tourism steps relate to a railway project.

"This year we’ll start laying a railway line to run to Gabala. This will ensure influx of tourists to this district. Also, making of documentation and feasibility study on construction of the railway line to Gusar district is underway. Probably, starting from next year we’ll build a railway line to main tourist places," President Ilham Aliyev said.
