October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The functions of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan have been expanded.

ABC.AZ reports that today President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on amendments to the Regulation on the Ministry.

The Agriculture Ministry is entrusted with the following new functions:

- organizes registration of breeding achievements and patent protection, as well as other tasks defined by the Law on Breeding Achievements through a subordinate institution and monitors their implementation;

- to provide the relevant employees of the Ministry exercising state control in the field of agricultural machinery with description and standard of supply, special uniforms and insignia, control and measuring devices and other special means.
