October 11, Fineko/abc.az. The official exchange rate of the Turkish lira to the Azerbaijani manat decreased by 0.9% to 0.1897 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is also considered a new historical low.

Prior to that, the historical minimum was recorded on 30 September of this year. After the denomination that took place in Azerbaijan in 2006, the lira dropped to the specified level for the first time.

Over the past month alone the lira fell by 5.7% against the manat.

Until now (after the denomination - Ed.), the highest value of the lira to the manat was recorded on 5 January 2008 – 0.7363 manats.

Over the past 10 years the peak of the lira-manat exchange rate was recorded on 19 May 2011 – 0.5026 manats.
