Oil has grown in value, and Brent is at $84.85 a barrel

October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Friday’s trading.

By 11:09 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the December’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.85 (1.01%) up to $84.85 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 October the Brent crude futures for December grew in price by $0.82 (0.99%) up to $84.00 per barrel.

By 11:09 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November increased in price by $0.73 (0.90%) up to $82.04 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 October, the price of November’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.87 (1.08%) up to $81.31 per barrel.

Prices for Brent may end this week with an increase of 2.5% and for WTI by 3.5%.

According to U.S. Department of Energy’s weekly report, last week country’s commercial oil reserves increased by 6.09 million barrels up to 426.98 million barrels, gasoline inventories decreased by 1.96 million barrels to 223.11 million barrels, and commercial distillate reserves by 24,000 barrels to 129.31 million barrels.
