Finance Minister: Financial position of Int’l Bank of Azerbaijan stabilized

April 12, Fineko/abc.az. The process of recovery and transfer of toxic assets of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has been completed.

Finance Minister Samir Sharifov has stated that this process will activate the question of Bank’s privatization.

"The IBA’s financial situation has stabilized fully, but the process of its privatization will take certain time. The Bank will publish the results of the financial statements for 2017 and this will mean that the Bank has turned into a profitable financial institution and the privatization process can be started," the minister said.
